Giving Life to the Community

Artists

David Povilaitis:

I began my art and design career in Chicago, and have been a graphic artist and photographer for 35 years. For the last 17 years I have lived in Sonoma County and in the San Francisco bay area.

My conceptual art has been used regularly in publications all over the worlds to visually illuminate editorial and educational articles and books. Distilling authors' intensions and creating art that engages the readers' wit and intelligence is an enjoyable challenge. As a multi-media artist, I have worked in fabricating metals and wood for sculptures, architectural elements, products and assemblages.
