Davis is known for her large scale semi abstract floral works of which she states, "I am a floral painter that does not really paint flowers." Davis uses an imaginary floral form and vivid color to communicate the energy of memory or an experience whether it is spiritual, environmental or social.

Davis was involved with Hearts of San Francisco in 2004, creating the Heart entitled, All the Flowers.
