ince I have retired from public school teaching in Fremont, I felt it was time to try artistic pursuits. For the past two years I have taken mosaic lessons from Dmitri Grudsky (Fremont Adult School) and Gina Dominguez (Snapshot Mosaics, Montclair).

My mosaics have been exhibited at Expressions Gallery, Berkeley, CA, Olive Hyde Art Gallery, Fremont, CA, and The Glass Shop, Niles, CA.

Recently, I went to the DeYoung Impressionists exhibit and enjoyed a Starry Night painting by Van Gogh. I thought I would be fun to create my own stained glass Starry San Francisco Night on a heart.
